Platform

One integration. Every compliance layer handled.

Invoxa sits between your ERP and the FTA, so your finance and engineering teams don't have to become e-invoicing experts to go live on time.

01

Ready before your ASP deadline

Standard integrations typically go from kickoff to a live pilot in weeks, not months — well inside the 30 October 2026 ASP appointment window.

02

PINT AE, handled for you

Every invoice is mapped to the FTA's 51-field semantic model and validated against UBL/PINT AE before it's transmitted — no manual schema work.

03

5-corner routing, built in

Invoxa operates as your Accredited Service Provider connection point on the Peppol network, handling corner-to-corner exchange with buyers and the FTA.

04

ERP-agnostic by design

Connect via API, SFTP or file upload — whatever your existing ERP or accounting stack already supports. No rip-and-replace.

05

Free zone ready

DMCC, JAFZA, IFZA, ADGM, DIFC and other free zone entities are in scope for the mandate — Invoxa is configured for free zone TRN and reporting nuances from day one.

06

Audit-grade archive

Every transmitted invoice, credit note and validation result is stored and retrievable in-country, in line with UAE Tax Procedures Law retention requirements.

How it works

From ERP entry to FTA report, in four steps.

The same flow whether you're issuing ten invoices a day or ten thousand.

1

Connect your ERP

Link SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Zoho, Tally or an in-house system through our API, SFTP or bulk-upload connectors.

2

Validate against PINT AE

Each invoice is checked against the FTA's semantic model, VAT rules and Peppol standards before anything is transmitted.

3

Route the 5-corner model

Compliant invoices move through the Peppol network to your buyer's access point and are reported to the FTA's e-Billing system.

4

Archive & reconcile

Every invoice and its delivery status is archived in-country and reconciled against your source ERP for clean VAT reporting.

Compliance timeline

Where the UAE e-invoicing mandate stands today.

Set out under Ministerial Decisions No. 243 and 244 of 2025, and Cabinet Decision No. 106 of 2025 on administrative penalties.

Sep 2025
In effect

Legal framework established

Ministerial Decisions No. 243 and 244 of 2025 formally establish the UAE Electronic Invoicing System and its phased implementation, building on the VAT Law amendment recognising e-invoices (Federal Decree-Law No. 16 of 2024).

1 Jul 2026
Live now

Pilot & voluntary phase

The e-invoicing system goes live for voluntary adoption. Businesses that opt in now use the pilot window to test integrations and surface gaps ahead of the mandatory deadlines.

30 Oct 2026
Upcoming deadline

ASP appointment — businesses ≥ AED 50M

Taxpayers with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an Accredited Service Provider by this date, extended from the original 31 July 2026 deadline.

1 Jan 2027
Mandatory go-live

Mandatory implementation begins

E-invoicing becomes mandatory for the AED 50 million-plus revenue band. Non-compliance carries an administrative penalty of AED 5,000 per month under Cabinet Decision No. 106 of 2025.

Through 2027
Phased rollout

Mandate expands by business size

Smaller revenue bands and additional entity types are phased in through 2027 on a schedule set by the Ministry of Finance and FTA. B2C remains out of scope pending a separate decision.

Dates reflect published Ministry of Finance guidance as of this writing and are subject to official amendment — confirm current deadlines at mof.gov.ae before publishing.

FAQs

Common questions on the UAE mandate

What is the Peppol 5-corner model the UAE has adopted?+

It's a Decentralised Continuous Transaction Control and Exchange (DCTCE) model with five parties: the supplier, the supplier's Accredited Service Provider, the buyer's Accredited Service Provider, the buyer, and the FTA, which receives a report of every transaction as it moves between access points.

Do free zone businesses need to comply?+

Yes. The Ministry of Finance has clarified that free zone businesses — including DMCC, JAFZA, IFZA, RAKEZ, ADGM and DIFC entities — are in scope for e-invoicing, with no free zone exemption.

What happens if we miss our compliance deadline?+

Cabinet Decision No. 106 of 2025 sets an administrative penalty of AED 5,000 per month for non-compliance, applied until the taxpayer implements a compliant e-invoicing system.

What format does an e-invoice need to be in?+

Structured XML using UBL or the UAE's PINT AE data dictionary, transmitted through an Accredited Service Provider. Scanned images, PDFs and paper invoices don't qualify as electronic tax invoices under the framework.

Can we use the voluntary pilot before the mandatory deadline?+

Yes. The system has been open for voluntary use since 1 July 2026, which gives your team a window to test the integration, fix data gaps, and reach the mandatory deadline with a system that's already proven in production.

How long does implementation actually take?+

It depends on ERP complexity and invoice volume, but a well-scoped integration is typically measurable in weeks rather than months — comfortably inside the ASP appointment window if you start now.

Your ASP deadline is 30 October 2026. Let's make sure you're ready.
